Is there an own hotel parking?
We are situated in the old town directly, so we can´t offer any own parking. There are restaurants and sights in the immediate vicinity.
Public parking is available within walking distance. We recommend the St. Marien car park (approx. 250 meters; €2.50 per hour / €15 daily rate) or the parking spaces at the Music and Congress Hall (approx. 600 meters; €1.20 per hour / €6 daily rate) . E-charging stations are also available at the parking lots. Sufficient parking spaces are available at both locations.
It is usually possible to stop directly in front of the hotel for loading and unloading.
If you arrive by bike, you have the option of storing it in our lockable, dry premises. Please notice, this room is only accessible during our reception hours from 07 a.m. to 07 p.m. Please inform us in advance.
From what time to what time is the reception staffed?
Our Rezeption is available daily from
7.00 a.m. until 7.00 p.m.
Late arrivals are only possible by prior arrangement.

What time is check-in?
Check-in time is 15.00 hours. An early check-in is possible if avaiable. You have to book this in advance. A service fee will be charged.
Is is possible to store your luggage in the hotel when you´ll arrive before 15.00 hours. Please note that we are not responsible for any damage or loss.
Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Your pet is welcome, of course. The additional fee for it will 15,00 Euro per day. Please tell us about your pet when you book the room. Please notice that your pet is not allowed in the breakfast room while breakfast. Assistance dogs are of course free of charge and excluded from this.
Is there an elevator in your hotel?
Our hotel is a historical building. So we have no elevator. Of course, we are helpful with your luggage.
Is there wireless lan in the hotel?
Everywhere in the hotel is wireless lan for free.
Is there a mini bar in the hotelroom?
There is no mini bar in the room but there is a teamaker. In our double rooms are refrigerators which can be filled on request. In our suite, the deluxe double rooms and double rooms there are also refrigerators, which we will be happy to fill for you on request. For the single rooms we have a trusty minibar in the back of the house.
Is there a safe in the hotelroom?
Each of our rooms has its own safe. There is also a hotel safe at reception.
How can be paid in the hotel?

Do you offer lactose-free and gluten-free food?
If you need special food, for example, gluten- or lactose-free food, please tell us in advance. We will organize this.
Is is possible to have breakfast although I am not a hotel guest?
External guests are welcome for breakfast. Please reserve a table in advance.
Is it allowed to smoke in the hotel?
No. The hotel and all rooms are non-smoking areas. Of course, you may smoke outside where are ashtrays for you.
Is it possible to buy vouchers?
You can buy vouchers for every offer we make, No matter whether you´ll like a breakfast voucher or one for a package.
How to find us
How to reach us by car
If you are driving on the A1 motorway, please take the “Lübeck Zentrum” exit and turn right onto Stockelsdorfer Straße. Drive to the roundabout and take the first exit “Bei der Lohmühle”. Drive to the next crossing and turn left into “Fackenburger Allee”. Follow the road to the next roundabout. Here you take the third exit and drive over the bridge towards Holstentor. After the Holstentor, turn left into the street “An der Untertrave”. The Fischergrube is the 7th street on the right. You will find the hotel after approx. 250 m on the left-hand side in the Fischergrube.
Arrival by ferry
You´ll arrive at terminal „Skandinavienkai“ in Travemünde by ferry. Please take the train to Lübeck main station and then a bus, a cab or walk to the hotel.
If you are by car just take the A1 motorway to the direction Lübeck.
Arrival from the train station by bus
You have to go from the train station to the central bus station (ZOB). Please take bus no. 30, 40 or no. 12 to the direction “city”. You have to leave the bus at the station “Breite Straße “. Please cross the street and left hand-side you´ll find “Fischergrube”. After 100m the hotel is located at the right side of the street.
Arrival by plane
You´re landing at Hamburg airport. From there just take the S-Bahn to Hamburg main station. Then take the train to Lübeck main station. There you can take a bus, a cab or you`ll walk to the hotel.
Arrival by train
Take the Deutsche Bahn to Lübeck Central Station. There you can either take bus lines 30, 40 or 12 from the ZOB to the “Breite Straße” stop, or you can walk along Konrad-Adenauer-Straße to the roundabout (Lindenplatz) and turn onto the Puppenbrücke. Walk over the Puppenbrücke until you pass the Holstentor. Cross the Trave and then turn into the street “An der Untertrave”. Follow the road until you arrive at the Fischergrube after about 5 minutes. Turn into this and after approx. 250 meters you have reached the hotel on the left-hand side in the Fischergrube.
